Green Sukabumi Stone
Viceroy Resort, Bali used Bali Green Sukabumi for the main infinity pool. They are used for the inside of the pool and outside walls of the pool. On the inside use Honed finish and Rough face finish for the outside wall of the pool. This stone has a green natural color which can make the pool look beautiful and elegant to merge with nature, This stone has a Zeolite substance, it substance can destroy microorganisms in the water to make the pool clean.
Bali Lava Stone Wall
Bali Black Lava stone can be applied for walling, flooring, pool tiles, etc. In Viceroy Resort, Bali, this stone is applied to the pool deck of the main pool. Besides that, this stone was also applied in a few parts of the wall in this resort. Bali Black Lava stone is one of the best stone for flooring and pool deck as this stone has stable temperature and anti-slip although the surface is smooth. Elegant black color create good appearance when combined with natural green color from Bali Green Sukabumi.
Yellow Palimanan Pool Deck
Viceroy Resort, Bali choosing Bali Yellow Palimanan stone for the floor around the pool. Bali Yellow Palimanan has a unique appearance as it has yellow lines on the surface of the stone. Yellow lines on the surface will make the looks of this stone like a wood fiber or sands. This stone is good to apply for flooring, walling, or pool deck. Although this stone has yellow lines on the surface, the surface is still smooth but anti-slip, so will make it comfortable and safe to walk barefoot on it.
Cream Palimanan Stone
Other stone used in Viceroy Resort, Bali is Bali Cream Palimanan stone. Bali Cream Palimanan stone was applied for walling in this resort. This stone provides a beautiful and clean appearance with green nature surrounding view. The recommended finish for this stone is Honed finish. Honed finish has a smooth surface but is still anti-slip. If you use it for flooring, it will still convenient when walking barefoot.
Kerobokan Light Stone Wall
Bali Kerobokan stone was applied to a few parts of the walls in Viceroy Resort, Bali. The chosen finish for the walls is Sawn Cut finish which has a scratch texture from the cutting process with machine. This stone has many various spots so make a look unique. Bali Kerobokan stone can bring a traditional style from a beautiful gray color combined with spots in it. One of the benefits is stable temperature, so this stone will not be hot in sunny and high temperatures.
Cobble Stone Paving
For the driveway area, Viceroy Resort uses Bali Andesite stone. This stone is known as a hard stone as it has good density and hardness. The cobble type was chosen for the driveway area. It’s the best choice to use cobble as the driveway area needs more hardstone and long durable. Cobblestone is a type of stone that has more thickness and a unique style.
Black Pebble Stone Tiles
Bali Black Pebble stone was used in Viceroy Resort, Bali for wall decoration. This stone type has stable temperature feature. Some people use it for aquarium, garden, floor, etc. Pebble also can be used in the wall decoration like in the picture above.
Bali Palimanan Stone Relief
Additional decoration in Viceroy Resort, Bali is a relief wall decoration. This decoration was formed by stone blocks and sculpturing to be an object inside a frame. Applying this to the wall can provide a traditional style and make the wall doesn’t look empty.
